The Argentines are very fond of festivals, so a number of festivals are celebrated by them throughout the year. It is suggested that if the TESOL trainees want to pursue the course in Argentina, it would be better if they choose to visit the place during any festivals.

The National Folklore Festival of Cosquin is celebrated in the second week of the January which is one of the most important festivals in Argentina. The eminent musicians and dancers of the country would be in “Prospero Molina” to serenade the people who come to enjoy the festival.

Buenos Aires Tango Festival would be very attractive for those people who are very interested in Tango, because in this festival free classes on Tango are offered to the people. So, that is one of the main attractions of the festival. The famous Tango dancers engross people in their performance. The festival has been started since 1999, and it is held in between February and March.

The people who have a fondness for the art can enjoy in the La Rural Exhibition Centre where they would be able to see some of the national and international art galleries, institutions and organizations.

International Meeting of Wood-Stone-Iron Sculptures in Rosario is a festival where people would derive the pleasure watching the sculptures which are truly awesome. The Argentines celebrate the festival in between September and October.

The music festival which is celebrated on December at the Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires is one of the most important music festivals in Argentina. Various national and international bands perform music on different genres.
