A four week Onsite TESOL Program Curriculum Shanghai
The three weeks 120 hours
TESOL course in China is an intensive teacher’s training course, which aims at
equipping teachers with all the basic skills of becoming an ESL teacher. The 120
hours class is divided into few modules including class inputs and practical
aspects of teaching. Practical teaching experience is given extra emphasis.
Pointers of TESOL course curriculum of China:
- Foreign Language Experience where a local language would be taught to help students understand the hurdles faced by language learners.
- Skills required to teach reading, listening, speaking and writing are taught
- Contextualization of Grammar
- Lessons on nuisances of Phonology
- Using games, projects, theatres, songs and chants for teaching ESL students.
- Creating interactive materials for classrooms, to make lessons interesting.
- Inputs on classroom management skills.
- Three basic modules are taught during the TESOL course like basic, young learners and receptive skills.
