TEFL in Cyprus: Course Overview
The 120 hours TESOL course provided in Cyprus is recognized and accredited
globally. The 120 hours Course is offered in a period of 4 weeks. The teachers
are given necessary inputs on EFL and ESL teaching during this course and gives
the candidates required knowledge for teaching English as second language. The
entire curriculum followed can be divided into 6 parts, teaching techniques,
language awareness, teaching practice & observation, materials project,
assignments and assessment. Apart from theoretical inputs, special emphasis is
given on practical sessions, which ranges practice teaching one to one, with
young learners, adult students and business professionals.

The school where we offer our TEFL Course is located in
near the historic city of Famagusta in Northern Cyprus. The city is located on
the banks of the Mediterranean and in close proximity to the spectacular ruins
of Salamis a Roman city of ancient period. Another historic place in the island
is the church of St. Barnabas, which though not in operation now sports its
beautiful archaeological ruins in a local museum. Thus for the TEFL students it
is an incredible experience to get a glimpse of fascinating history of this
island and at the same time explore the art of Mother Nature.
The school is equipped with all modern teaching facilities, which includes
Internet connection and other resources for the teachers. The closeness to the
beach and the gorgeous resort help the candidates to relax during the intense
course.
We usually provide our teachers with shared accommodation in a beautiful resort. The candidates can also choose to upgrade it to single occupancy. Students can also choose to arrange their own accommodations.
