Some necessary information for TEFL trainees coming for the TESOL course in France:

Euro is the official currency France along with the eleven other members of the European Union. There are both notes and coins in Euro. The notes are of the following denominations, 5, 10, 20, 50,100,200 and 500. There are coins of denominations 1 cent, 2 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent, 50 cent, 1 euro and 2 euros.

Banking hours in France are from 9 in the morning to 12 at noon and then from 2 in the afternoon to 4.30 in the evening. The banks are closed on Sundays and Saturday or Monday.

Currency can be exchanged easily at he banks, big hotels and with the agents. Crédit Mutuel or Crédit Agricole are the two most important currency exchange firms in France.
