TEFL Trainees / ESL Teachers

Candidates who have applied for a TESOL course in France can come to this country on a tourist Visa. TESOL trainees who are citizens of the countries belonging to the European Union do not require any Visa or even work permit to visit or work in France. Citizens of USA can stay in French for 90 days without any tourist Visa. People coming for the TEFL program in France should go in person to the French embassy or consulate to apply for the tourist Visa.

Documents required for acquiring a tourist visa are:

• Passport with six-months validity
• Two properly filled out application forms
• Two recent passport sized photographs
• Last three bank statements and paystubs
• Proof of health insurance with medical coverage
• Original air ticket
• Confirmed hotel reservation
