Venice Carnival is an annual festival of Venice, which is famous for the colorful masks worn during the festival. Giubiana is an age-old festivity of Italy, which is very popular in the Lombardy region. Giubiana is a name of a witch who represents all evils. Giubiana is a burnt then as the token to welcome a good year and getting rid of all the evils.

EuroChocolate is the largest chocolate festival of Italy. It takes place each year in Perugia since 1993. There are chocolate art displays, chocolate tasting, arrangement for chocolate spa and chocolate architectures.

Festa del Redentore is celebrated in Venice in the month of July. Temporary churches and bridges are built during the festival. The city is decorated and there is the grand firework at night. The young crowd gathers on the beach and sits there till dawn on this day.

Palio di Asti is had its origin in the Medieval era and even today it is celebrated with great pomp. The event is of horse race, which attracts over 100,000 spectators.

Palio di Siena is also a horse race festival, which takes place each year in July and August. The riders in colorful uniforms representing their contrade ride the bareback horses. Huge corwds gather during this event to cheer their rider.
