Candidates coming for TESOL course in Italy can come on a tourist Visa. Visa application should be made at the Italian embassy or consulates in their respective countries.

Documents required for acquiring a tourist visa for Italy are:

  • Fully filled out application form
  • One recent photograph in a white background
  • Passport having a validity of 90 days
  • Travel Itinerary
  • Proof of Financial guarantees
  • Confirmed hotel booking or sponsorship letters
  • A return flight reservation
  • Photocopy of passport
  • Insurance declaration form
  • Medical Insurance with coverage of 30,000 Euro

Within eight days of reaching Italy, it is mandatory to register with the Police Department and get “Permesso di soggiorno”.

Citizens of USA can stay in Italy without a Tourist Visa for 90 days. Citizens of EU countries do not require any Visa to stay and work in Italy.
