Mexico has one of the most fascinating culture of the
world and a very interesting blend of European and Latin American culture. The
culture at the rural areas and the urban areas of this country are quite
different. The villages are quite sparsely populated in comparison to the
cities. Mexico is one of the biggest Spanish speaking countries where Roman
Catholicism is the main religion. Although most people follow Roman Catholicism,
there is no state religion. Folk art and crafts of various genres and time make
Mexico one of the richest cultures. The history of this country is equally
fascinating like its present. Football is the most popular sports in Mexico and
bull fighting another form of entertainment is a national craze.
Spanish is the most importance language in Mexico. However, the government also
recognizes 68 indigenous Amerindian languages. These are considered as the
national languages of Mexico. Though, these are not very widely used these
languages is a constant reminder of the golden days of Mexico before the arrival
of the conquistadors.
