TEFL course program in Morocco is divided into seven modules. During the TESOL course, the candidates can also learn basic Arabic, which might be helpful for teachers who aspire to take up ESL job in Middle East.
Module 1:
Foreign Language Experience of 10
hours, which gives trainees are given basic instruction in a foreign language.
Module 2:
It deals with the basics of
grammar and phonology. There are class inputs and self study materials on parts
of speech, intonation, phonemics, verbs, connected speech and many more. It is
assessed by grammar and phonology test.
Module 3:
In this module, the TEFL trainees
have to prepare student profiles.
Module 4:
This module is of 30 hours, which
comprises of the basics of ESL teaching including lesson planning and classroom
management.
Module 5:
It comprises of Teaching Practice
and observation of experienced teachers and peer teachers.
Module 6:
Case study of one ESL student.
Module 7:
Study of North African culture.
