Poland has an extremely rich culture due to its long history. Located in the confluence of Western and Eastern Europe this country has gathered attributes from both cultures and composed a unique one of its own. Poland has always been considered a culturally rich country due to its long support towards art and artists. Another popular aspect of Polish culture is its food. Various dished like pyzy, kotety, kielbasa have become world renowned. Sausage is another most popular food product of Poland.

Art of Poland is famous for its exclusiveness and yet similarity to its European counterparts. In the field of Literature, the Poles have made significant mark. It was four Nobel Laureates in the field of literature, namely Henryk Sienkiewicz, Władysław Reymont, Czesław Miłosz and Wisława Szymborska. The atrocities of the Second World War are reflected on Polish literature of the second half of the 20th century.

Religion is quite important in the life of the Poles and Catholicism is practiced widely. Life in Poland revolves around the family and still now extended families are a norm. It is a more or less conservative culture where customs and traditions are still given extreme importance.

Polish is the official language of Poland and it belongs to the Latin family. Despite years of oppression, Poland has been able to produce some of the greatest literature. Polish is the official language of Poland and is one of the most popular Slavic languages.
