There are a number of places to visit in Spain. While some
are very interesting others are less fascinating. Even then places in Spain are
worth a visit like most other European countries exhibit a fondness for the
classic culture.
Madrid: Madrid is not only the capital of Spain but is also the largest city of
the country. Madrid is a blend of urban culture and historical allure with
designer stores and century’s old family homes standing side by side. Among the
sights that one shouldn’t miss out while visiting Madrid will include Teatro
Real, Plaza de Neptuno, Museum of the Americas and Café Central.
Barcelona: It is the second largest city in Spain and is located in the southern
part of Spain exhibiting a genuinely exorbitant Mediterranean culture. It is one
of the favorite tourist spots with high degree of flocking towards the Gothic
Quarters. There are many museums in Barcelona like Barcelona Museum of
Contemporary Art, Maritime Museum, Erotic Museum and the Cosmocaixa science
museum.
Mallorca: This is one of the most coveted party destinations of the world and
home to one of our favorite tennis stars. The Mallorcan Island has something to
offer to every visitor and has everything from beautiful beaches to throbbing
nightclubs.
Valencia: The entire region of Valencia is something not worth missing out. The
place is famous for its orange groves and the trees are a sight to behold when
in full bloom. There are several beaches around this region and offer a variety
of water sports to the visitors. It is also the third largest city in Spain.
While in Valencia do not miss out on the Bell Tower which is a part of the
Cathedral El Micalet.
