Camel Wrestling Festival
Camel wrestling festival is a unique festival celebrated in Turkey. The fully
grown male camels are used for this purpose. The cost of maintaining these
fighting camels are quite high now, which is decreasing the popularity of the
sport. Lot of blood and gore is not involved in this sport.
Kadirga Festival
It is the most popular festival of Turkey, which takes place in the plateaus
of the Trabzon Province. People from four districts come together to celebrate
in the third week of July. This festival celebrates harmony among people of
Turkey.
Izmir European Jazz Festival
Each year in the month of March, Izmir of Turkey adorns itself for the Izmir
European Jazz Festival. Renowned Jazz artists from Europe and Turkey come to
participate in this festival.
Barisarock
It is an annual Rock Festival, which takes place in Istanbul each year.
Anyone can participate in this festival free of charge. This rock festival is
sponsored by Coca Cola and is known as Rock’n Coke.
